Boltons has been in business on the Fraser Coast since 1935. Originally Bargain Home Furnishers, it was an offshoot from the parent store "Big Whites" in Ipswich, founded in 1920 by John Charles White. Each of John White's five children opened a furniture store in a Queensland coastal town - a son or daughter each in Redcliffe, Bowen and Maryborough and a partnership in Gympie. Boltons moved from the original store in Adelaide Street to a building in Ellena Street. A new store was built in Hervey Bay in 1981. It is now run by the fourth generation of the same family. You can be assured that when you come into our stores, we know all about Furniture, Floorcoverings or Window Finishes and are able to assist you to buy the best product possible at the best price possible. We have two large stores full of quality lounges, dining rooms suites, bedroom furniture, floor coverings, blinds and curtains.
